Standing out in a saturated eSign market.

Privy led the Indonesian market and had run out of room to grow there. Australia was next, and everyone who needed eSign already had it. We took Privy from business strategy to in-market messaging in ten weeks.

The challenge

Privy had reached saturation in one of the toughest authentication markets in the world. To keep growing it needed new markets, and a partner who understood the tech landscape, the competition and how to build a unique value proposition fast. The Australian problem was blunt: everyone who needed eSign already had it, so where do you start?

What we built

We started with the broader business strategy, then dropped into specific messaging.

  • Recognised that Privy is more than an eSign provider, with verification and authentication natively integrated into the platform without compromising UX
  • Developed a new portfolio strategy with a different commercial approach, built to sell differently in a new region
  • Created differentiated messaging that is now used globally

The result

  • Went from business strategy to in-market messaging in ten weeks, letting Privy test its message and approach fast
  • The new value proposition explains Privy's full range of services clearly, and differentiates by showing how the company leads on digital ID and security
  • The work is now used not only in Australia but globally

Paal15 really understood who we were as an organisation. A lot of the work has now been used not only in Australia but globally.
