What happens next, what we will ask you for, and where to find the paperwork.
Two documents come first. A mutual NDA, so both sides can talk openly about the business. And our general terms, which apply to every engagement unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Every engagement works through the same six areas. The weighting shifts depending on where your business is, and so does the order, but we look at all six before we write a word of messaging.
How the company makes money today, and where it intends to make it next.
Who you are measured against, and whether that is the category you want to be in.
What you sell, and the case for buying it.
Who the story is for, and what each of them needs to hear.
Direct, partner, or both, and what each route demands from the story.
How the work reaches the people who have to sell with it.
Access to the people who know. Founders, sales leads, product, and whoever owns the current story.
Whatever already exists. Decks, one-pagers, pricing, the website, win and loss notes. Rough and outdated is fine, we would rather see the real thing than a tidied version.
Two or three customers we can speak to. Their words tend to be sharper than anything written internally.
One person who can approve the final direction. This matters more than the rest. Work slows most often when nobody is able to say yes.
Send these to your Paal15 contact, or email info@paal15.com to get started.
A Foundation engagement is built to reach sales-ready inside six weeks. Interviews and reviews sit on your side of the calendar, so the timeline moves with your availability rather than ours.
You have one point of contact at Paal15 throughout. Questions, changes of direction and new material all go through them. Anything urgent can also reach info@paal15.com.
